Reggae and dancehall artiste  Livingstone Etse Satekla known worldwide as Stonebwoy has been forced to let the world know how much he takes for shows when he is performing in and outside the shores of Ghana.

This became necessary when he was informed that many Ghanaians believe their top musicians perform for free when they are out there on the white man’s land. Setting the record straight on Hitz FM Sunday evening, the BHiM Nation president stated emphatically that he does not perform free whether in Ghana or outside.

According to him, all shows he’s been on are events his management bargained for him to be paid what is due him but not what the organisers think they can afford.

Letting the world know what he takes when he is outside the country for a show, Stonebwoy who said his fee for foreign shows depends on the kind of concert revealed that he takes between $30,000 (Gh142216) and $50,000 (GH237,027).

During the conversation he had with King Lagazee which was religiously monitored by zionfelix.net, he also mentioned his figures for concerts in Ghana. Stonebwoy divulged that he takes between Gh80,000 and Gh100,000 for shows in Ghana. When asked if he took more than Gh50,000 for his recent show in Axim, the dancehall artiste responded yes.

The Dancehall artist also disclosed that many of the musicians usually spill huge sums of monies out there as the amount they charge for shows just to feel good about themselves but in reality, it is all a scam.
