Ghanaian actress and socialite Efia Odo has reacted to repeated speculation surrounding her relationship with Dr Likee, questioning why public interest often turns personal whenever she is seen working with a male colleague.

The actress addressed the issue during a TikTok Live session after a viewer asked whether she had ever been intimate with the popular skit maker, a question that appeared to frustrate her.

Efia Odo expressed disbelief that people continue to attach romantic or sexual meanings to friendships and professional collaborations between men and women, arguing that such assumptions unfairly shift attention away from the actual work being done.

“You wake up in the morning, and this is what you’re thinking about? You can ask me anything in this world, but you asking me if Dr Likee has had sex with me before is insane,” she said.

Efia lamented that conversations about her private life often attract more attention than discussions about her career, creative projects, and the content she helps create.

“Why must everything be about sex? Every time you people want to ask something, whether in the morning, afternoon, or evening, whether I’ve eaten or not. If he has slept with me, is that your business?” she stated.

Responding directly to the speculation, Efia Odo dismissed claims that she and Dr Likee have ever shared a romantic or sexual relationship, insisting that their connection is strictly based on their creative partnership.

“To answer your question, Dr Likee has not slept with me before. The relationship we have is all about work and nothing more,” she clarified.

She explained that their focus has always been on creating entertaining content for their audience, adding that people should not automatically interpret professional relationships as something beyond work.

“We just create content for you all to be happy. You can’t see someone working with someone without thinking of sex?” Efia Odo questioned.
