The Ghana Police Service has disclosed in a new press statement released that the police officer who was seen in a viral video $ekually harassing a young lady for dressing $eductively in a car in the Bono Region has been remanded by the court.

In the press release signed by ACP Kwesi Ofori, it is revealed that the police officer was taken to court yesterday, November 29, but was remanded to reappear on Wednesday, December 1.

It will be recalled that the police officer called Victor Antwi Yeboah recently came under serious attack on social media after a video of him went viral on the internet harassing a lady by touching her thighs with the claim of searching her car.

Lance Corporal Victor Antwi Yeboah in the video was heard threatening to slap the lady ordering her to shut up adding that she’s naked hence he can touch her.

So after he appeared in court yesterday, we are told he pleaded not guilty to the charges leveled against him which are assault contrary to section 84 of the criminal offenses act 29 and indecent assault contrary to section 103 of the criminal offenses at 29.
