The battle for who becomes the artiste of the year at the 24th edition of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards is still on.
Already, a lot of fanatics and respected people in the entertainment space have been vigorously campaigning for their favorites and the people they believe deserve the most coveted award on the night via social media and other mediums.
The gospel fraternity has been rooting for Piesie Esther to win the award with her smash hit song, ‘Waye Me Yie’, the ‘non-Christians’ have also tipped 2022 music breakthrough, Black Sherif to walk away with the award on the night.
Others like Arnold-Asamoah Baidoo and George Quaye have also asserted that they have no shred of doubt that Stonebwoy deserves the award as the artiste of the year for 2022 because he is one musician who walked the most in the year.

Well, with barely 24 hours to the event slated to take place at the Fantasy Dome of the Accra International Conference Center, respected talented manager, George Britton, has tipped his artiste, Camidoh to win the award as well.
In a post the CEO of GB Records made on his Facebook wall on Saturday, May 6, 2023, he stated that Camidoh has already won the award as the artiste of the year for 2022 even though the event has not taken place yet.
A lot of people in the comment section of this post have also stated that they agree with George Britton because he is one of the artists who did marvelous work in 2022.
His hit singles ‘Sugarcane‘, ‘Surgarcane’ remix and many others broke a lot of records on the global music market and became the toast of the town.
