Sensational Ghanaian singer, Gyakie has described all the attacks on her by a section of social media users just because she decided to jubilate when Nigerian superstar, Wizkid followed her on Twitter as sad.

Speaking with Nana Romeo on Accra FM’s weekend’s entertainment review show, the “Forever” hitmaker said that her tweet was just the exact reflection of her mood in her room when she saw that Wizkid had finally followed her.

According to her, she has always seen Wizkid as a big musician so she was actually humbled by his ‘follow back’ on the popular ‘bird app’.

On suggestions that she failed to do the same when big names in the Ghanaian music industry like Sarkodie, Efya, and others followed her, Gyakie said that those suggestions were false.

Gyakie disclosed that when Sarkodie followed her somewhere in early 2020, she made a lot of noise about it.

Sadly, a lot of people did not see it because she was not as popular as she is now back then.
