The Ghana movie industry has been thrown into a state of mourning once again following reports of the death of actress and media personality Beverly Afaglo.

Some heartbreaking scenes have emerged from her family residence after earlier reports indicated the actress passed away just days before her birthday.

In a video making rounds online from the family home of the late actress, several actors and actresses were seen gathered in shock and disbelief after news of her demise broke.

Among those spotted at the residence were actors and actresses including James Gardiner, Roselyn Ngissah, Gloria Sarfo, Martha Ankomah and Vicky Zugah.

The sad atmosphere intensified later when James Gardiner arrived at the residence. In a video seen online, the deputy secretary of the National Film Authority was seen crying uncontrollably as Gloria Sarfo and Roselyn Ngissah tried consoling him while wiping tears from his face.

The touching moment has since sparked emotional reactions on social media, with many fans expressing sadness over the actress’ reported passing.

Currently, some suggestions circulating online claim Beverly Afaglo may have passed away after recently battling cancer. However, no official statement has been released by the family to confirm those claims, and the exact cause of death remains unknown at this time. Earlier reports only indicated that she had reportedly been unwell in recent weeks.

Beverly Afaglo, who was known for movies such as Return of Beyonce, Girls Connection and Aloe Vera, leaves behind her husband, musician Choirmaster, and their children.
