Popular Ghanaian blogger, Sammy Kay, who happens to be an employee at Despite Media, has come out to offer some clarification on the whole brouhaha about the failure of some 21 TikTokers to accept an amount of GHC3,000 given to them to share.

The reports about the failure of the TikTokers to take the money went rife some days ago after the annual UTV Day With The Stars which has been held on the 1st of January in recent years as a way of celebrating the birthday of Despite Media’s CEO, Fadda Dickson.

Even though earlier reports suggested that the TikTokers failed to accept the money because they felt insulted about how small the amount they were each going to get, Felicia Osei, who happened to be there on the day came to clear the air.

During her show on Onua FM, Felicia revealed that they failed to take the money because they didn’t see the need for it since they were invited for a birthday party and not an event to receive any form of payment.

Well, despite the above revelation, Sammy Kay took to his Youtube to release a video and disclose that most of the TikTokers who were at the said event were not even invited and as such, he was struggling to understand why they were ranting.

According to him, it defies logic for people who have been invited to a party to be demanding money from the person who organize the party when they should be the ones getting the individual something.

The host of the Go Online Show further stated that Fadda Dickson, who organized the said party has nothing to lose if he decides to stop organizing henceforth and asked that the TikTokers who are supposedly making noise about the money cut him some slack.
