Ghanaian actress cum presenter, Kisa Gbekle in a recent interview has disclosed that life was a literal hell for herself and her family when she was growing up in Aflao in the Volta Region some thirty years ago.
Kisa revealed that her mother and father got divorced when she was just nine months old and as such, all the responsibility of raising her and three brothers became the sole responsibility of her mother.

She added that there were times she had to walk miles to a sibling of her mother just to get cornflour before they could prepare some food and eat.
Kisa Gbekle also mentioned sadly that there were times that they had to go to the refuse dump to get some vegetables like tomatoes, pepper, or sit at the seashore to beg for just a single fish and use to prepare meals just to satisfy themselves.
