On Saturday, August 26, 2023, popular Kumasi-based actor and musician, Kwadwo Nkansah ‘Lilwin’ finally premiered his much-anticipated movie, Mr. President.

The movie premiere, which took place at the SG Mall in Kumasi, witnessed a huge turnout of movie lovers and fans of the actor and other cast members in the movie at the venue, making it one of the most successful movie premieres in the Garden City of Ghana.

Apart from the fans, a lot of respected industry people who are colleagues of Lilwin were at the venue to show him the needed support and love on the big day.

Out of the numerous stars who turned up for the premiere, Kwaku Manu‘s presence appears to have been the one that shocked many people because many people are of the opinion that the two stars have not seen eye to eye in recent times.

Amid the reactions to his decision to attend the premiere, Kwaku Manu told Zionfelix in a recent interview on the Uncut show that he decided to go to the premiere to surprise his brother and colleague even though he did not have any form of invitation.

Kwaku Manu revealed that when he arrived at the venue, the team of Lilwin and the boss of Wezzy Empire were all shocked and dumbfounded to see him there.

He explained that he felt it was only right that he attend the premiere because Lilwin is doing his part to revive the industry, which is perceived to be dead now, and that effort should not be downplayed at all.

When he was asked if he was expecting Lilwin to replicate the same gesture when he also premieres his new movie titled ‘Who Is Your Guy’ on Friday, September 1, 2023, at the same venue, Kwaku Manu was quick to say that he does not.
