Ghanaian filmmaker, Peter Sadufia has explained why most Ghanaian movies on Netflix are not showing to the audience in the United States of America.

Ghanaians in and outside the country were over the moon following the availability of some local movies on the popular streaming platform.

Yvonne Nelson’s ‘Fix Us’ movie joined other Ghanaian productions like Peter Sedufia’s Keteke, Sidechic Gang and Shirley Frimpong-Manso’s Potato Potahto and The Perfect Picture – 10 Years Later on Netflix on Sunday, August 2, 2020.

While a section of Ghanaian movie fans were thrilled after streaming ‘Fix Us’ on Netflix, Ghanaians in America have bitterly complained about the movie not showing in their area.

Zionfelix.net has gathered Yvonne Nelson’s ‘Fix Us’ and Peter Sedufia’s ‘Side Chic Gang’ movie are not available for people in the United States of America to stream.

When questioned why some of the movies are not available to certain countries, Movie writer and director, Peter Sadufia explained; “Mostly, it depends on the territories Netflix acquired for, or, the territories the producer wishes to sell to them, or, the territories available for acquisition.

“It’ll show in every country if Netflix acquired for worldwide.”
