Soon after sensational singer/cum Black Sherif dropped his hit freestyle titled ‘Second Sermon’, there was a lot of talk on some social media platforms that he stole the name Blacko he used in reference to himself from MTN Hitmaker winner, Koo Ntakra.

Even though he has acted as tho he has not seen any of these commentaries online so far, Black Sherif finally reacted to these suggestions when he appeared on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz entertainment review show when the host of the show, Andy Dosty brought it up.

As soon as Andy Dosty asked the question to verify the claims that he stole the name from Koo Ntakra, Black Sherif gave a very sarcastic laugh and said a rather hilarious ‘herrrrrrrrrrrr’.

Black Sherif then went on to add that the name is one he got back at the senior high school when he was a student at Kumasi Academy. He went further to emphasize that he never stole the name from anyone because friends used the name to refer to him back then.
