Afua Asantewaa Owusu Aduonum has openly confirmed that she is currently separated from her husband, Kofi Owusu Aduonum, following months of public speculation about the state of their marriage.

In the clip, she featured a tall, well-built young man dressed in trendy gym attire, describing him as her “ideal man.”
The video, which highlighted the man’s physique as he showed off his toned abs, quickly gained traction online, with many interpreting it as a subtle indication of dissatisfaction in her marriage.
Addressing the rumours for the first time, Afua Asantewaa clarified her marital status during a TikTok Live session with Prophet Fire Oja on Tuesday, March 31, 2026.
“I am not divorced. We are separated for a good cause, and I am gradually healing. It is not a big deal,” she said.
Her statement confirms that while the couple is no longer together, they have not legally ended their marriage.
Afua indicated that the separation occurred after her move to Canada, though she did not go into details about the specific reasons behind their decision.
She emphasised that the situation is part of a personal healing journey, suggesting a focus on emotional recovery and self-reflection.
