Kumawood actress and movie producer, Patricia Osei Boateng has told the story of the sad ordeal she had to face at Kuwait in faraway Asia because a deacon in her church decided to deceive her and ‘sell’ into modern-day slavery some years ago.

Speaking as a guest on the ‘Uncut’ show recently, Patricia stated that the supposed Christian believer and deacon approached her with the claim that nurses were in high demand in Kuwait and as such he was willing to help her go and work there. As a nursing student at the time herself, she felt this was a great opportunity to go out there and work unknowing that it was a complete scam.

The ‘Black’ movie actress and producer revealed that she got to the country with the expectation of working in the health field only to be told that she was going to be a maidservant. She described the working conditions in Kuwait as bad as hell in its figurative sense.
