Ghanaian musician Edem has shared a sad update regarding the condition of fellow artiste Agbeko, following days of public concern triggered by a disturbing viral video.

Just recently, social media was set abuzz when Agbeko was captured in front of the Multimedia Group’s office in Accra, begging media personality Andy Dosty for money.

Even though Andy Dosty repeatedly told him he wanted to buy him something decent to eat, Agbeko insisted that he wanted cash instead.

The uncomfortable encounter raised serious questions about his state of mind and well-being, prompting calls for immediate intervention.

In a post shared on X, Edem expressed profound disappointment as he revealed the immense efforts he and his VRMG team had invested in trying to help Agbeko get back on track.
According to him, the team had been following up on Agbeko for days and had done everything possible to guide him toward a healthier, more stable life.

Edem explained that he personally spent the entire day with Agbeko and later dedicated an additional four hours at the Pantang health facility, where arrangements had been made for him to be admitted into a rehabilitation programme.

Despite all these efforts and the professional support available, Edem mentioned that Agbeko flatly refused to enter the rehabilitation programme.
