Ghanaian gospel musician, Patience Nyarko has sharply reacted to fake reports about her condemning President Akufo Addo’s decision to ease the restrictions on churches and other religious gatherings amid Coronavirus outbreak.

In an audio obtained by Zionfelix.net, the ‘W’afom Kwan’ composer said she has not granted any interview after the President’s address to the Nation last night.

She asserted that she doesn’t know those who are behind this false reportage.

Patience Nayrko further called on Ghanaians to pray to God for Him to save us from this Coronavirus pandemic.

Her reaction follows a publication made by a news website, Atinkaonline with the headline: “Reopening of churches by Akufo-Addo is a recipe for disaster – Patience Nyarko.”

Subsequently, the website has retracted and apologized to the popular gospel musician for misinterpreting an interview she had with Amansan Krakye on Radio Central earlier.

According to them, the false article about Patience Nyarko has been taken down after sighting the vague reportage made by their reporter.
