A conversation about love and money has been reignited after DKB shared his unfiltered thoughts on men’s financial roles in relationships.

Speaking on Hitz FM, the comedian dismissed the idea of men depending on their partners for financial support, framing it as a break from what he considers the norm.

“Women are not supposed to be the ones financing. Which man would want to allow a woman to take care of him?” he asked.

Taking his argument further, he said men who rely on women financially should be ready to take on domestic responsibilities in return.

“If you’re a man and a woman is taking care of you, you shut up. You clean the house, wash clothes, and put food in order because you’re playing the wife’s role.”

He insisted that, from his perspective, men are still expected to be providers, pointing to what he described as a widely held belief among women about how money is shared in relationships.

“You have to give a woman money because women’s philosophy is your money is your money is our money and my money is my money,” the outspoken comedian stated.
