Controversial Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall musician Shatta Wale has alleged that officials from the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) have stormed his residence armed with guns.

Shatta Wale did not provide further details about the alleged incident, including what prompted EOCO’s visit but only fingers the boss of the office of being the mastermind behind what he believes was a needless exercise.

Shatta Wale futher made the post political by stating for a fact that the action of Raymond Archer will take the governing NDC to opposition come January 2028.

Taking to his Facebook wall on Thursday, August 5, 2025, the outspoken musician wrote:

“Raymond Archer EOCO BOSS, Ibe you go make NDC go out of power next 4yrs. Bringing guns to my house was uncalled for !!!”

Currently, his post has stirred intense public speculation, with many calling for clarity from both EOCO and the artist himself.

It remains unclear why EOCO would target the musician, but given the agency’s mandate, the action could be connected to any number of serious allegations.

The Economic and Organised Crime Office is a specialized Ghanaian law enforcement agency established to investigate and prosecute complex economic crimes. These include financial loss to the state, cybercrime, money laundering, human trafficking, and other forms of organized crime.

As of now, EOCO has not issued an official statement in response to Shatta Wale’s claims.
