Renowned comic actor, Richard Asante popularly known as Kalybos and Orkman Company Limited spent their Mother’s Day which happened on Sunday, May 13 at the Princess Marie Louise Children’s Hospital in Accra.
The firm as part of its annual charity works visited the hospital with items worth over Gh50, 000. The goods they presented to the health center included air-condition machines for the laboratory which lacked one, bags of rice, gallons of oil, boxes of Kris Milk Drink and many other products the company produces.
The company also paid the bills of some selected children who have been discharged but had difficulties in paying their fees. After all these kind gestures from Orkman Company Limited to the hospital and its patients, the CEO of the company, Christian Okumanin also gave the hospital Gh10, 000 to be deposited into its fund.
Kalybos who is the brand ambassador for the company’s Kris Milk Drink pleaded with the infirmary that items and money they gave them be used for its purpose. He later demonstrated how Kris Milk drinks could be used and shared it to all who were at the event. He later moved to each ward to have fun with the children admitted to the hospital.
Top officials of the hospital thanked the company for the help they have given them and also promised to use them rightly.
Orkman Company Limited is the producer and distributor of Kris Milk Drink, Anna Cooking Oil, Anna Perfumed Rice and many other products on the market.
