In question 4(c) of the paper, students were asked to identify two important social issues addressed in King Paluta’s hit song “Aseda.”

The inclusion of King Paluta in a national examination appears to signal a growing recognition of his works beyond entertainment but rather delve into social commentary.

It also affirms how relevant his music is in the academic and cultural landscape of Ghana.

This appears to be a personal achievement for King Paluta but also a sign that contemporary Ghanaian musicians are shaping minds, influencing narratives, and making lasting contributions to society.

After the paper surfaced online, his fans have taken to social media to celebrate him and praise him for using his craft to inspire and educate.
