Ghanaian artiste King Promise has revealed that his parents have started nudging him about having children, even though marriage is still a distant thought for him.
In a recent interview with Kwame Dadzie and Doreen Avio on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz 103.9 FM, the ‘Tokyo’ singer said his parents have been candid about wanting a grandchild.
“It’s gotten to a time when my parents say they want a grand kid. They say ‘all these kids in your video, you know give us a grand kid’,” he stated.
The 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards Artiste of the Year added that while he has met many women over the years, he does not feel ready to settle down just yet.
“I am still a young man navigating through life. As I get older I will definitely settle,” he explained.
King Promise also opened up about how his approach to choosing a partner has evolved. He admitted that physical attraction once played a major role in his relationships, but that mindset has changed over time.
“Now it’s not about physical. If I feel you, I feel you,” he said.
Outside of his personal life, the singer is focusing on his music and gearing up for his Promised Land concert, scheduled for December 30, 2025, at the Ghud Park.
