Ghanaian rapper Kwaw Kese has sparked an online conversation after openly admitting that his latest single, “Ama Yare Fever,” was not created to make sense, but rather to make people happy.
Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM earlier this morning, the rapper explained that not every song is meant to carry a deep message or moral lesson.
According to him, “Ama Yare Fever” falls under the category of party songs designed purely for entertainment.
“There are three types of songs, and this one is a party song and should not make sense,” Kwaw Kese said. “I am not the one to come and advise people when they have parents. This is a party song and should not make sense.”
The “Abodam” hitmaker emphasised that music serves different purposes some to inspire, others to educate, and many simply to entertain.
His focus with “Ama Yare Fever,” he said, was to create a fun, carefree vibe for fans to dance and enjoy themselves.
