Actor Clement Bonney aka Mr Beautiful has blamed President Akufo-Addo’s government for the collapse of the movie industry in Ghana.
In his interview with ZionFelix, Mr Beautiful said the government led by Nana Addo has destroyed the movie industry.
Since they are in charge of giving TV licenses, the actor averred their actions of not regulating and giving instructions to those they give licenses to, have had negative effects on the Ghanaian movie industry.
Mr Beautiful explained the influx of foreign content on Ghanaian television stations.
He was sad about the Ghanaian language being used for these foreign movies/series.
The comic actor stated that authorities should have done something about it.
He mentioned how Nigerian authorities regulate content on their screens.
Mr Beautiful maintained that President Akufo-Addo’s government has not helped the Ghanaian movie industry.
