Ghana’s very own Michael Owusu Addo, famed as Sarkodie is in the running to become the first Ghanaian to collaborate with American star, Cardi B.

Not long ago, a poll was set up to select the next act to feature the outspoken rapper and the list included Ghana’s Sarkodie.

The entire poll was put together by renowned music conglomerate, Billboard, as they sought to solicit information from fans.

The question for the poll read: “Who should Cardi B collaborate with next?”

Among the many big names that came up in the poll were: Lil Nas X, Charlie Puth, Roddy Ricch, Sukihana, Mulattp, Normani, Rubi Rose, Rosalia, Rihanna, Jenni Kim, Christina Aguilera, BTS and a host of others.

After the poll was conducted, Sarmkodie came out top with a commanding 70.3% of the total vote cast.

The second place went to South-Korean based boy band, BTS, who managed some 9.15%.

Third and fourth places went to Other and Nicki Minal respectively.Sarkodie deserves to be in the discussion following the many international and national awards he has to his credit in line with his musical talent.

He recently hosted a virtual concert at the Independence Square in Accra which was dubbed the Black Love Virtual Concert.

Cardi B on the other hand has also racked up some considerable following for herself in Ghana after she paid a visit to the West African country.

Even though her visit did not end on a so-good note for Ghanaians, her decision to go with Sarkodie on her next project would win her even more lovers than haters in Ghana.
