The launch drew in some of the country’s biggest names in showbiz, including Empress Gifty, Keche, Abatey, Nero X, Shatta Bandle, and many others who came to show massive support for the man who has consistently pushed the Ghanaian entertainment agenda beyond borders.

Apart from making an appearance, the music duo, Keche, also captivated the auditorium with a thrilling performance, alongside other performers.

At the launch, Sleeky announced that the concert is scheduled to take place on 7th March 2026 in Manchester, UK. Sharing a few words, the renowned event’s organiser promised that it will be one of his biggest international productions yet.

He added that the 69th Independence Day Concert is designed not only as a celebration of Ghana’s rich cultural heritage but also as a bold projection of the country’s creative influence to the global world.

Sleeky also stressed the event is more than a show, as it will be used as a platform to highlight the strength of Ghanaian creativity and an opportunity to expand the country’s growing entertainment footprint internationally.

He further emphasised that Ghanaian music and artistry have become too powerful to remain local, and platforms like his Independence Day Concert are essential in telling Ghana’s story to the world.

Note that Sleeky has successfully organised major international events before.

His track record speaks loudly over the years with his events that include organising Black Sherif’s sold-out concert in The Gambia, filling venues in Takoradi, powering SK Frimpong’s spectacular UK gospel concert, and many others.
