After years of a turbulent relationship marked by public drama, emotional outbursts, and a mental health crisis, Ghanaian comedian and actor Funny Face and his ex-partner Vanessa Nicole have finally come together to co-parent their children peacefully.
The reunion took place at the residence of Ghanaian magicians and spiritual figures, the Mystic Twins.
In a video seen online, the former couple were coised up as they watched a video of their children together.
Vanessa broke down in tears, visibly overwhelmed with emotion, and was consoled by Funny Face, who gently embraced her in an effort to comfort her.
This moment is significant in their long and often bitter history. Funny Face, born Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, had publicly battled depression and mental health issues following the breakdown of his relationship with Vanessa, who is the mother of his three daughters, including a set of twins.
Their public exchanges over the years had included accusations, emotional pleas, and family tensions, which left both parties and their children.
In recent times, however, Funny Face appears to be on the path to healing, thanks in part to the support of his colleague and fellow actor, Kwaku Manu.
Kwaku Manu has been instrumental in Funny Face’s recovery, offering emotional and psychological support and encouraging him to rebuild his life.
The two have been spotted together several times, with Kwaku Manu playing a big brother role and even accompanying him to the Mystic Twins’ home.
