Former Afrobeats musician turned Prophet, motivational speaker and Gospel musician, Mighty J who is known in private life as Julius Dacosta has got netizens talking following some recent revelations he made about his early life.
Speaking on Neat FM’s drive-time show which is hosted by Ola Michael recently, Mighty J recounted how he used to be addicted to a lot of things including weed and the things he did to break free eventually.
He mentioned that growing up in Accra Newtown, he mostly found himself hanging out with friends in ghettos inside Nima and some parts of Newtown to smoke, and most of the time Ghanaian Dancehall superstar, Shatta Wale, was among the hood boys.
The “Overload” crooner went on to indicate that despite his addiction and love for smoking, certain incidents happened in his life which marked a turning point in his life, leading him to live a new life pleasing to God.
He stressed that after he finally gave his life to Christ and became a born-again Christian, his life has become fra better than before and he is also at a better place.
