The initiative, which took place on Monday, saw several VIP buses and Toyota Hiace vans deployed to transport students to various destinations across the country, including Ho, Kumasi, Takoradi, Cape Coast, and Elmina.

The thoughtful act aimed to ensure the students traveled home safely and comfortably without the financial burden of securing transport.

Sharing the news on his social media, Dumelo stated, “Yesterday I organized free buses for level 100 Legon students to go back home safely for vacation. HO, Kumasi, Takoradi, Capecoast, Elmina etc. #idey4u.”

This gesture has been widely praised on social media, with many commending his hands-on approach and dedication to the needs of his constituents, particularly the student population of the University of Ghana, which is located in his constituency.
