Ghanaian singer Wendy Shay has threatened to pursue legal action against producers of “Slay”, a Netflix movie featuring Kalybos and Bismark The Joke, for using her song without authorisation.

Posting an excerpt of the movie on her Instagram page, Wendy Shay lamented that she didn’t know that her song, “All For You” was used.

Her management was also not notified before the song was used. In short, Wendy claimed the song was used without prior authorisation.

The South African movie titled Slay is about a group of tech-savvy individuals who try to juggle intimate first encounters, first impressions and romantic opportunities.

Wendy Shay reminded the producers of the movie that using intellectual property without authorisation is a crime.

She admonished the producers to do the right thing or meet her in court.
