Dr Kwame Owusu Fordjour has denied claims that the recipients of the supposed United Nations and Kofi Annan Foundation awards paid for it.

Some days ago, popular Ghanaian musician-Shatta Wale claimed the awardees paid GHS 1,000 while D-Black paid GHS 5,000 to the organizer.

Though his utterances have been rated as a mockery to D-Black and others, Dr Fordjour aka Dr UN has reacted.

Speaking via phone in an interview monitored by Zionfelix.net on UTV’s United Showbiz program on Saturday night, Dr UN told Nana Ama McBrown that B-Black and Sarkodie didn’t pay any money to him.

He said he would have used any amount paid to him through the award scheme as part of a donation he wants to do at an orphanage home.

When asked whether he had sponsors for the event, “No” – was the answer Dr UN gave.

He, however, disclosed that he has about ten International donors.

A lot of Ghanaian celebrities and public figures including chiefs and other personalities were tricked to accept an award from Dr Kwame Owusu Fordjour which turned out that he had no affiliations to the United Nations or the Kofi Annan Foundation.

He also defended his award scheme during this interview with Nana Ama.
