Veteran Ghanaian musician, Rex Omar, has reacted to the criticisms targeted at Britain’s Got Talent.

A section of Ghanaians has cried foul after Afronita and Abigail emerged 3rd in the 2024 edition of the competition.

These critics said the Ghanaian dancers should have been declared winners instead of second runner-up.

Some even went to the extreme of saying they were not announced winners because of where they hail from.

However, Rex Omar, in a post sighted by Zionfelix.net told critics to know and understand that the show is called Britain’s Got Talent.

He stated that the platform was created to unearth and promote British talents to the globe and not Ghanaian talents.

The Board Chairman of the Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO) urged Ghanaians to create Ghana’s Got Talent if they like.

Rex Omar said Ghana will always lag behind until attention is paid to the creative economy.
