Renowned Ghanaian media personality Caroline Sampson has formally resigned from her role at Asaase Radio according to a report available to zionfelix.net.
In a report seen on nydjlive.com, has quit her role as one of the station’s on-air identity since its inception in 2020.
The talented radio show host joined Asaase Radio in June 2020 as one of its prominent voices when they started airing and during this period she was the host of the station’s Brunch Show and Café 995.
Her exit has sparked speculation about her next move, with many wondering if she is headed to another media house but currently, we don’t have any clues yet.
It should be noted that Caroline Sampson’s career spans nearly two decades, making her one of the most influential female voices in Ghanaian media.
She began her radio journey in 2005 at Atlantis Radio in Accra, where she hosted popular drive-time shows like Continuous Drive and Mellow Cruise. She later joined Citi FM, where she fronted shows such as Room 973, Rhythms in the Citi, and Citi Countdown, before moving to Pravda Radio and then YFM Ghana, where she became a household name with the weekly show Shout on Y.
Beyond radio, Caroline has had a successful television career, hosting the U-Win Game Show on GTV, Hitz Video on TV3, and sports shows on Kwese TV.
Her work has earned her multiple awards, including Best Presenter at the Stars Integration of Culture of Africa in Benin and Best Female Radio Personality at the Ghana Entertainment Awards USA.
