Actor Oboy Siki has issued a public apology to fellow actor Yaw Dabo after the latter initiated legal proceedings over remarks Siki made.
Speaking to GHPage TV on January 21, 2026, Siki admitted he has not personally contacted Yaw Dabo since receiving the court summons. Instead, he enlisted Akwasi Antwi to intervene on his behalf and request forgiveness.
“I’ve not spoken to Yaw Dabo personally. When I received the letter, I called Akwasi Antwi and asked him to tell Yaw Dabo to forgive me. He should withdraw the case from court since both of us were good friends and we can’t take each other to court over small issues,” Siki said.
The actor explained that his comments, which sparked the lawsuit, were made in a moment of anger and were never meant to harm Yaw Dabo’s reputation.

“I’m here today because of the claims he made. I want him to know that when anger arises, people say things that are not supposed to be said. He should just see everything I said as jokes so he can forgive me. I don’t see the need to take this issue to court,” he said.
Siki also shared his disappointment that Yaw Dabo, whom he regarded as a mentee and confidant, felt compelled to pursue legal action.
“He used to talk to me about everything because he saw me as a father. I later got worried that someone who talked to me about everything had taken me to court,” he noted.
He closed by emphasizing that his words were never intended to demean Yaw Dabo. “I didn’t say what I said intentionally or to disgrace him as he thinks and I’m deeply sorry for that.”
