NPP Will Remain in Opposition For A Long Time Because of Mahama’s ‘Smart’ Appointments – Vim Lady

0

Afia Pokuaa, popularly known as Vim Lady, has expressed her belief that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will remain in opposition for an extended period due to the strategic appointments being made by President John Dramani Mahama.

Speaking on her radio show, Vim Lady commended Mahama for appointing numerous young individuals to key roles within his administration.

She argued that these appointments will ensure loyalty within the party while attracting more young people to the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Comparing Mahama’s approach to that of former President Akufo-Addo, she criticized the latter for prioritizing family, friends, and long-time allies in key government positions.

She asserted that this strategy hindered the growth of the NPP, while the NDC’s inclusive approach would help expand its membership base.

Counsellor Lutterodt advises men not to allow their wives befriend their mothers

0

Counsellor George Lutterodt has made it into the news again with his bizarre advice to married men.

The controversial relationship expert has advised married men not to allow their wives and mothers to be close friends because it would lead to their early deaths.

As counsellor Luttrodet advised during an appearance on The Toast Show, men who allow this to happen are doomed forever because it’s not good for them.

He said: “If you see a wife who has befriended the husband’s mother, the man will die early.”

His comment drew immediate pushback from one of the panelists on the show, who questioned, “Isn’t that going to be healthy for you?”

Notwithstanding the pushback, he said, “You have never been a man before. If your wife and your mother are friends, what it means is that my mother will use her to continue treating me like a child.”

According to him, marriage is a transition where a man leaves his mother to build a new life with his wife.

“That’s why we leave our parents, especially our mothers, to marry,” he explained. “So if my wife becomes like my mother, I am finished.”

“As you can see, everything depends on money. If I have the money, no actor from anywhere will turn down my offer. Unfortunately, I don’t have that kind of funds,” he said.

The popular actor offered a piece of advice to his colleagues.

“At the moment, our industry is struggling mainly because of lack of investment. This has forced some of us to finance our own film productions.

“I, therefore, urge my colleagues to make a move because you can’t sit idle; I mean waiting for a producer to give you a role. If you have what it takes, come out with your own movie.

“Today, I’m proud to say all my movies and even TV productions were funded by myself without any external support. So you can imagine the quality of productions I would come out with if I had an investor cushioning me,” he said.

Lilwin further boasts about the quality of his movie production.

“A Country Called Ghana is the best production in recent times, just like the classic I Told You So. It has earned some awards, including Best Indigenous Film at the 2024 Nollywood Film Festival, as well as Best Production Design and Best Make-Up at the 2024 Imo International Film Festival,” the actor stated.

“What the h**l has happened to our beautiful Ghana? The damned polarization is tearing our democracy to shreds. Dang, it crushes my heart seeing our people sinking into the quagmire of political insults and intolerance!

In the last administration, folks took it upon themselves to tarnish the ex-president and anyone who dared to voice opinion. Our sullen parents, religious leaders, and so-called state elders, not only stayed quiet, but applauded those son of a guns who created derogatory YouTube channels just to make people feel like crap.

I believed this bs would end. But watching SONA 2025 on UTV live on facebook near broke my heart. Sure, I don’t agree with everything President Mahama and NDC say or do. I don’t need to wish them ill or hate anyone, because Ghana is our home, all of us!” he wrote on Instagram.

Prince David Osei added: “But these lads, using foul language against the president… Is unacceptable . Can’t UTV even moderate these live comments? I admit, I might have messed up in the past, for which I am remorseful. But this isn’t good for Ghana or our youth.

I’ve been insulted time and time again, but I couldn’t care less about it. What bothers me is seeing our young ones resorting to politics of insult and prejudice. For God’s sake, let’s learn to tolerate each other! Disagree, fine. But personal attacks?! This sort of polarization could cause us hell one day, NPP or NDC be damned! God bless our homeland Ghana.”

“..And I Took Her Money.Nineteen years ago, I received a divine conviction to leave Takoradi and move to Accra. The Lord Jesus Christ had instructed me to build a people of impact in the city. With unwavering faith, I took the decision to relocate, unaware of where my next meal would come from.

“I arrived in Accra with only Gh 4.6, armed with my mother’s bag, and checked into Gloryland Hotel at Odorkor. Alone in my room, I reflected on my situation, determined to rise above the challenges. That’s when I remembered a young lady I had met years ago, who had become a spiritual daughter to me,” he wrote on Facebook.

“I reached out to her, and she visited me the next day. I took the money that was on her and  I asked her to withdraw her investment from an institution, and she brought the money to me. I took the funds, knowing that the Lord had sent her to sustain me in this new chapter.
