Shatta Wale Shuts Down Divorce Rumour

Social media has been buzzing about Shatta Wale and wife, Shatta Mitchy unfollowing each other on instagram.

Due to this, some media houses reported that the two have either divorced or are planning to end their marriage. Zionfelix.net do not know why these media houses reported that but we can say that there’s no iota of truth in that reportage.

Shatta Wale who is currently in USA is not happy with this rumour and as usual, he took to social media to react to it. The dancehall artiste in a Facebook post insulted the persons spreading the false news.

GHAMRO Starts Distribution Of Outstanding Royalties

The Ghana Music Rights Organisation, (GHAMRO), wishes to inform its cherished members that the December 2016 distribution of outstanding royalties starts from Wednesday, April 12, 2017.

This was made possible after the receipt of the statutory blank levy of two million two hundred and twenty-four thousand Ghana Cedi’s 2,224,000.00 from the Bank of Ghana through the Registrar Generals Department.

Notice is hereby given to all members that the Board in line with its mandate has approved the disbursement of funds as indicated below to settle the outstanding royalty payment due to members for December 2016 via mobile money, bank transfers and over the counter payments for the old, disabled and infirm members.

This means the amount being distributed is almost 20% more than what is statutorily required by the Regulations. To enable the Society improve on its collections and distribute higher royalties to members, the Board and Management of GHAMRO urge all music users such as Broadcasting Stations (Radio & TV), Telecommunication Operators, Banking & Other Financial Institutions, Hotels, Shopping Malls, Restaurants, Spinning Groups, Event Organisers, Offices, Hairdressing Salons, Barbering Shops and all other public places, to apply to GHAMRO for a licence to regularise their usage of musical works by calling the hotlines (054 0122357 and 054 0122359).

Please note that failure to obtain a license for the use of music in public is unlawful and punishable under the copyright laws of Ghana.

Multiple award-winning gospel singer, Mrs. Mercy Twum-Ampofo known in showbiz as Ohemaa Mercy has officially launched her recording and rehearsal studio, Royalty Music Studio.

The beautiful ceremony held to announce to the world about her new studio was held on Thursday, April 13 at the Royalty Music Studio located on the Spintex Road in Accra. Ohemaa Mercy on the day thanked God for the attainment of fame, wealth and social status. She also showered praises on her husband, Mr. Isaac Twum-Apmofo who has been a rock behind her since she started music.

The ‘Aseda’ singer disclosed that the new recording studio is opened to all musicians but mostly especially to gospel artistes. Husband of the gospel diva, Mr Twum-Ampofo detailing why the recording studio was established disclosed that her wife has always dreamt of setting up a recording studio to help the gospel music industry. He added that this new project will help project the ministry of God.

Gospel musicians who were at the studio launch lauded Ohemaa Mercy and husband for the dream come true. O.J, SP Kofi Sarpong, Piesie Esther, Diana Hamilton, Mabel Okyere, Patience Nyarko, Abena Ruthy and others who were at the ceremony were happy to be one of the first people to experience the wind of change.

Ohemaa Mercy also announced the signing of three male gospel musicians on her record label, Royalty Music. The three who are Francis Amo, Ghanaian-born China-based gospel singer, Bro Philemon and Stars of the Future reality show winner, Ramsey from today, April 13 will be financed, managed and promoted by Royalty Music.

Fast rising gospel singer, Niiella, O.J and Piesie Esther performed at the launch organised to outdoor the new recording studio, Royalty Music Studio.

Royalty Music Studio and Royalty Musc, a record label are all under Royalty Group of Companies.

Renowned female gospel musician Ohemaa Mercy has done it again.

The multiple award-winning gospel musician and husband have established a record label, Royalty Music to help Ghanaian gospel musicians.

Royalty Music, a record label under Royalty Group owned by Ohemaa Mercy and husband, Mr. Isaac Twum-Ampofo has announced the signing of three talented male gospel musicians.  The three who are Francis Amo, Ghanaian-born China-based gospel singer, Bro Philemon and Stars of the Future reality show winner, Ramsey from today, April 13 will be financed, managed and promoted by Royalty Music.

Andy Favoured, General Manager for Royalty Music making the announcement today, April 13 stated that other gospel ministers will join the three who are currently on the record label. Ohemaa Mercy and husband promised to help the three project the gospel God has given them to give to the world.

Humbled Francis Amo who was at the announcement ceremony broke down in tears after Ohemaa Mercy explained why he signed him to the record label, Royalty Music. According to the ‘Aseda’ singer, Francis Amo is a powerful minister of the gospel but needs help hence her decision to throw her weight behind him.

Naa Kay, former member of award winning Hiplife duo Nkasei, after switching from secular music to the gospel music scene, has debuted ‘Aseda Ka’.

There has been a positive turnaround in Naa Kay’s life and he now aims to inspire his fans with passioned rhythmic gospel music.

When asked about the switch to Gospel music, Naa Kay writes, “I have come to understand that God is purposeful; everything that he created, he made them for a reason, and every situation that He allows in our lives is for His good purpose. By His grace and mercies, I have come to understand I was created for a purpose and I believe God has started answering my prayers by revealing to me what my purpose is on this earth.”

“My gospel music is not the generic gospel music, it’s not the ‘spiritual’ praises and worship music”, Naa Kay added. “It’s more of inspiring and encouraging people to move from places of darkness (i.e. hopeless life) to a fulfilling life in Christ Jesus. Every situation or ‘problem’ that God allows in our lives is for a reason and Heaven is waiting on us to make the right decisions to come out of them victorious; not to be overcome by troubles of this life. I hope my music will inspire people to move forward with their lives. I call it gospel mainly because there is good news in my music.”

Multiple award-winning artiste Bisa Kdei is set to release a new joint with another Nigerian top artiste.

After a successful collaboration with the No Kissing hit maker Patoranking titled LIFE, Bisa Kdei teams up with Supreme Mavin Dynasty’s label act, Reekado Banks.

This new collaboration, which features Reekado Banks, is titled Feeling, and it’s off Bisa Kdei’s upcoming 3rd studio album called KONNECT.

The album (KONNECT) is aimed at connecting High Life music to the world, and will feature musicians all across Africa.

Feeling, as the title explains is an emotional love song, which has both artistes talking about the sweetness of how “true love” with the right one feels.

His management, Black Legendary Music tells us that, Feeling by Bisa Kdei featuring Reekado Banks will be made available to the public on the 19th of this month.

The cover art for the song (FEELING) has been unveiled and we have no doubt this collaboration between Bisa Kdei and Reekado Banks will be the lovers anthem.
