Music group Gallaxy is back again with another song for Charterhous after Ghana Music Awards.
Bra Chicky, half of the group who released “Choices” last year after the annual awards punches holes in this year’s event in a new single he calls “VGMA Report”. The song starts with TV3 News anchor, Bright Nana Amfo’s goof when he said on TV that “Up Next is VAGIMA instead of VGMA”.
In the new VGMA Report single, the rapper comments on the dumsor which delayed the show.
Bra Chicky also talked about the costume Bibi Bright, Berla Mundi and other celebrities wore to the awards. There is no way you can talk about Ghana Music Awards without commenting on the award-winners so Bra Chicky, half of the music group had something to say about the winners.
He asked Medikal not to cry because what happened to him is normal. He applauded Charterhouse for organising this year’s event but gave them 50% adding that last year’s event was better than what Ghanaians experienced on April 8 2017.

For 3 years, the feud between un-awarded but undoubtedly Ghanaian artiste of the year; Shatta Wale and Charterhouse Ghana Ltd, organizers of the highly rated Vodafone Ghana Music Awards continues.
The Awards, by module, cannot and will never satisfy everyone; from fans, nominees and even to industry players. Following disagreements by both parties for the aforementioned; a matter that resulted in a court case before a final expulsion of the artist from the scheme, the popular Dancehall artist has remained absent from the annual music celebration.
But one person who has constantly “benefitted” from Shatta Wale’s absence from the ceremony is ace broadcaster, media mogul and CEO of EIB Network, Nathaniel Kwabena Adisi aka Bola Ray. Bola Ray owns another glamorous event which is not in competition with the award ceremony but another star-studded event which attracts most of the showbiz heavy weights and concert lovers.
Many (if not all) who attend the VGMAs so much desire to see the Dancehall king perform; as he brings moments of spectacle at his every performance. When you think you’ve seen it all with the Kakai hit-maker, you haven’t. From always having a new hit song to perform, to bringing his wife on stage, to pant drops, to controversial announcements, to charging an atmosphere by ferociously screaming on top of his voice non-stop, anything can happen during a Shatta Wale performance; as he gives his absolute all during his time in front of any crowd.

Often held in the month of May; few weeks after the VGMAs, Bola Ray’s highly anticipated Ghana Meets Naija concert emerges – an event that pits top Ghanaian artists against Nigerian opposition, and in the last 3 years of Shatta Wale’s absence from the VGMAs, fans have clearly discovered a backup plan.
Bola Ray may not have openly admitted to this assertion, but the superior man understands what is right; when the inferior man understands what will sell.
2017 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards is over but let’s focus a little bit on the lifestyle of the Ghanaian stars who attended the event that crowned gospel musician Joe Mettle us the overall artiste of the year.
Actors John Dumelo, James Gardiner and Fred Nuamah were part of the big personalities invited for the event, which happened on April 8 at the Accra International Conference Center. Dumelo and Gardiner went on stage to present an award but that is not our focus today.
The three actors attended the event in a 2016-registered white Hyundai. John parked his V8 at home and joined Mr. Nuamah’s car to the event.

The 18th edition of the annual Ghana Music Awards which happened on Saturday, Apri 8 at the Accra International Conference started late.
Organisers of the show, Charterhouse wants to apologise to the public and investors for the late start because it happened due to a problem beyond their control. In a press statement sent to Zionfelix.net, the organisers say the ‘dumsor’ happened because the power at the venue was not stable and “standby generator also couldn’t stay on for more than 15minutes.”
Read Press statement below:
“The very prestigious 18th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards came off yesterday, as planned at the Accra International Conference Centre.
Unfortunately the event couldn’t start at the scheduled time, due to some unprecedented major challenges we faced with the power supply to the conference centre.
The facility could not supply us with stable electricity from ECG and their over 1000KVA standby generator also couldn’t stay on for more than 15minutes.
At exactly 8.40pm, just at the strike of the drum for the amazing opening performance by the Accra Symphony Orchestra and Lumina, we suddenly lost all power losing some equipment in the process. The fluctuations that would follow are simply unprecedented and inexplicable.
Regrettably the event started 2 hours later than scheduled; for which we are deeply sorry.
From the bottom of our hearts we will like to apologize to all our viewers across Africa on DSTV, GOTV, GhOneTV, TV3, TVAfrica and Joy prime on Multi TV.
The biggest kudos will go to the patrons that came out in their thousands to witness this annual phenomenon and be part of what had been well thought out, well planned and well rehearsed to be a memorable night.
You were simply the best audience ever; considerate, matured and very understanding.
We could not thank you enough for your patience and understanding.
We on our part will be engaging with the management of the facility (Conference Centre) to investigate exactly what happened on the night mainly to ensure that it does not happen again. We will share our findings with you.
Despite the very daunting challenges, the show must go on and indeed, it did go on with outstanding performances and award presentations.
Congratulations to all nominees and award winners.
To God be the Glory!
Signed
CharterHouse Productions”

Get ready for another fight but that is if Benedicta Gafah is ready to ‘beef’ TV and radio host Afia Schwarzenegger.
Afia on Palm Sunday took to her instagram page to call out the Kumawood actress. She made monstrous allegations against Miss Gafah in the post. According to Schwarzenegger who described the actress as a prostitute, the Kumawod actress sometime past aborted her 6-month-old pregnancy – we don’t know whether it is true or not because efforts by Zionfelix.net to reach her proved futile.
The Angel TV presenter then warned her to be careful when passing comments about her because Bishop Obinim can testify that she, Afia Schwarzenegger is not ‘correct’.
She wrote “Next time when u want to discuss something. .discuss how u aborted your 6 months pregnancy just to follow prophet snakeman,do u think men waste money to marry girls like u. Tweaaaa….how do feel when u wake up in that house that was paid with poor people’s cash….have you told anyone why u are chasing someones hubby…no wonder bleaching is your new hobby..I wont repeat my self benedicta gaffah.next time when u want to talk about someone discuss your prostituition behaivour.i am not a nice person and your snakeman can testify to that…..your cup is full.kwasiabaa“
