The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, appears to be setting a lot of new precedence as the eighth speaker of Ghana’s parliament.

After the many things that he has done in the parliament house of Ghana that has got him trending on social media in the past year, Speaker Alban Bagbin is in the news today too following his decision to storm the parliament house dressed like a chief.

The Speaker ditched his usual outfit for a traditional attire for sittings in the House when the house got back in session on Tuesday, January 25, 2022.

In the photos that have gone viral on social media, he was clad in a kente cloth over a white lace shirt and a crown as he presided over today’s sitting.
