The winner of the Hip-Hop Song of the Year award at the 2021 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Yaw Tog aka The Young Bull is currently being bashed by some social media users who feel that his comment about making UK based Ghanaian artiste, Stormzy ‘more popular’ in Ghana is very insulting.

The fast-rising teen rapper has had himself in the trends for the most part of the day because many have suggested that the remarks were wrong and needless.

While a lot of social media users and some industry players feel that his comment on TV3’s New Day show hosted when he was recently hosted by MzGee was totally needless, others like Praye Tietia of Praye fame feel different.

Reacting to all the social media attacks and backlash being directed at Yaw Tog, Praye Tietia asked Ghanaians to cut the young musician some slack because he is still in the learning process as a young musician who is beginning his music career.

A comment Praye Tietia left on a post seen on Zion Felix‘s Instagram page reads: ”Let’s cut this young boy some slack la, he’s just beginning his career, he’s still learning. Aw.”
