Popular Ghanaian musician, Sarkodie, known in private life as Michael Owusu Addo, has expressed his disappointment in the happenings at Ejura in the Ashanti region.
After two people were killed during a protest, Sarkodie in a post-Zionfelix.net chanced on sounded disappointed.
He shared a video of the sad incident with a caption: “Definitely not the “Ghana” we preach to the world…”
The people were protesting over the killing of a social activist in the area named Macho Kaaka.
In the interim, President Akufo-Addo has asked the Interior Minister, Ambrose Dery, to provide a detailed report about the incident within ten (10) days.
Many Ghanaian social media users have condemned the approach used by the security personnel to control the irate youth who were protesting.
