Zionfelix.net reported Easter Monday evening that rapper Sarkodie has involved in an accident on his way to Agogo in the Ashanti Region for a show later that night.
The musician did not suffer any injury after the unfortunate incident which involved three cars but Angel Town, manager of the musician has described the accident as a serious one. Angel in a conversation with Hitz FM in Accra said the catastrophe happened in a flash without any alert.
“I wish I could tell you what exactly happened but just a matter of seconds there was that flash. We never saw the accident coming. We had flown from Accra to Kumasi so we were driving to Asante Akyem Agogo where we were going to support Amakye Dede for his concert happening that evening.
We were at almost at the turn that leads us to Agogo and all of a sudden we were hit into the bush. We were driving two cars. The one that had Amakye Dede, Sarkodie and two others was the car which was actually hit and entered the bush.
The part that was hit was really damaged, all the airbags were out but the important part is nobody was actually hurt. The only unfortunate thing is Sark’s car got damaged and the other car was also really damaged but nobody got hurt.” Angel Town, Sarkodie’s manager narrated when speaking with Prince Tsegah.
