Award-winning Ghanaian musician, Samini, has also added his voice to the growing concerns about the hardships in Ghana currently.
The recently-elected student representative council president of GIMPA in a post sighted on his Facebook wall questioned what the president of the republic of Ghana, H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, and his team, especially the vice-president was doing about the terrible manner the Ghanaian cedi keeps depreciating against the other currencies, mainly the dollar.
Samini pointed out that even though he was one of the key people who campaigned massively and voted to bring President Akufo-Addo into office, he feels terrible now.
According to him, his soul is bleeding now because all his investments are going down the drain because of the manner the cedi is suffering against the dollar.
The ‘My Own’ hitmaker stressed that Ghanaians can no longer pretend that all is well in the country when everything clearly shows things are not well and charged the president of the republic to do better.

‘Dear @NAkufoAddo.I supported you to bring change and stability. I believed in the vision and your concept of change! But with 2 years to go, my soul bleeds. Our investments wash away daily as the dollar openly whips our Cedi. Your people are crying. We cannot pretend all is well. But if God has blessed Ghana with anything, it is our ability to stare difficulty right in the face and say, it will #bealright 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. Ghana must work again! Where is the Nana Addo who begged us for the mandate? The indiscipline in high and low places of government must be checked. We go keep hope alive and continue to soldier on. What’s a man without hope? We can only continue to pray for a better tomorrow. To all my high graders out there, I say it again , we will #bealright!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥’
