Ghanaian artiste Black Sherif continues to stretch his influence beyond the continent after clinching his first-ever International Reggae & World Music Award.
He emerged victorious in the Most Promising Entertainer category at the 43rd edition of the International Reggae & World Music Awards, held on Sunday, May 17, 2026, in the United States.
Hosted at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center, the annual ceremony drew celebrated names across reggae, dancehall, Afrobeat, Soca and other global music scenes, reinforcing its reputation as one of the most recognised platforms in world music culture.
