Ghanaian actor and entrepreneur Prince Ntiamoah Badu, widely known as Pepe, has sent out a piece of valuable advice to his fellow actors in the Ghanaian film industry.

Pepe, who relocated to Germany in 2013, recently shared his insights on the challenges faced by actors relying solely on their acting careers for financial stability.

In an exclusive interview with Zionfelix on the Uncut show, Pepe emphasized the importance of diversifying investments and exploring other business opportunities.

He mentioned that he firmly believes that merely relying on acting cannot guarantee long-term success in Ghana’s entertainment industry. “Acting alone cannot make you successful in Ghana,” Pepe stated, urging his colleagues to venture into other businesses, investments or even travelling to Europe to work if the opportunity presents itself to secure their financial futures.

Pepe, now based in Germany, added that he understands the unpredictable nature of the entertainment industry.

He pointed out that actors must realize they won’t always remain at the pinnacle of their careers. “We must plan for the future and not assume that our fame will last forever,” Pepe remarked.

Drawing attention to the success stories of some of their senior colleagues, Pepe highlighted actors like Agya Koo, Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin, Kwaku Manu, Nana Ama Mcbrown, Emelia Brobbey, and others who managed to secure their financial well-being by wisely investing their earnings. These actors, according to Pepe, are currently enjoying the best moments of their lives, thanks to their foresight and financial planning.

However, Pepe expressed concern about the younger generation of actors who entered the industry without adequately preparing for the future. He cautioned them against complacency and urged them to follow the footsteps of their successful seniors.
