Mother of talented actress Rebecca Acheampong known in showbiz circles as Becca, Julie Yidadom-Oti has made some shocking revelations about the singer’s infantile marriage to her Nigerian, heartthrob, Dr. Tobi Sanni Daniels.
The very bitter mother in an explosive interview with Chris Vincent called out her son in-law for being the cause of a rift between her and her daughter.
She revealed Tobi branded her a witch and thief who only wanted to siphon her daughter’s resources. She added due to this, her relationship with her daughter had become strained with a break in communication for about a year.
She believes her constant advise to Becca to protect her finances and assets prior to her marriage may have irked Tobi and caused him to cut her off. She said she was kept in the dark about the singer’s pregnancy and hasn’t even been allowed to see her grandchild.
She had these words for her son in law, “Since Tobi is a thief, a thief always thinks another thief is coming to steal something from him. Ofcourse when you’re the husband, you have to take care of the family, but the fact that you’re a thief you think that I’m coming to steal from my own daughter? ”
Becca is one of the very private celebrities in Ghana, and these revelations come as a huge shock. We can only wish the family well and hope for reconciliation because there is nothing more satisfying than seeing an amazing mother-daughter bond.
