Information reaching Zionfelix.net indicates that the Accra Technical University (ATU), formerly Accra Polytechnic, has recorded a case of the novel coronavirus.

According to sources, the case was recorded of a National Service Personnel in the school who is posted to the academics department.

The case was confirmed on Sunday, 21st June, 2020, after the service personnel exhibited some symptoms of the novel virus and test were run on him.

He was in contact with some six persons and they have all been asked to isolate as their samples are being tested for the virus, the acting Director of Public Relations is reported to have revealed.

The infected service personnel is being treated at a medical facility and the department in which he serves is currently being fumigated.

The Public Relations Director called on the student and non-student body of the school to not panic as the whole issue was under control.

It would be recalled that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, as part of measures to ensure that the country finds its feet again, asked final year students of universities to go back to school on Monday, 15th June, 2020.

Final year students in senior high schools across the country also returned to school on Monday, 22nd June so as to sit for their WASSCE exams.

Zionfelix.net earlier reported that the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority of Ghana (DVLA), has reportedly released a statement to address an issue of a conflict in the sighting of same car number for two different cars.

This issue caught the eye of the Authority after the car number seen on a Range Rover birthday gift to GHOne star, Nana Aba Anamoah, was also seen on a Nissan Rogue car that went viral on social media over the weekend.
