Ghanaian music producer, Roro is unhappy about how Lynx Entertainment handled Kuami Eugene’s recent lyrics theft.

Kuami Eugene was accused of using Prophet Seth Frimpong’s ‘Okomchola’ lyrics with seeking authorization.

As a producer of the song, Roro told Hammer in a recent interview Zionfelix.net has chanced on that how Lynx Entertainment treated the issue was disrespectful.

According to him, he was the one who contacted Lynx Entertainment over the issue.

However, they’ve now agreed to share the royalties of the song in question—‘Dollar On You’ by Kuami Eugene.

“Richie and Kuami should know better. I felt disrespect when I had to rather contact them myself over this. I have been in touch with them and they have agreed to share royalties with us over the song.

“Sampling someone’s lyrics is not bad as you even contribute to reviving the song especially when the artist is big but when you do it without the consent of the artist or management, that’s disrespectful and wrong and until someone sues an artist for a huge amount, this practice will continue. We need to do the right thing,” Roro stated.
