Kumawood actor Mmebusem has denied reports that he is mocking Jesus with his skits. Mmebusem has launched a skit that portrays him as Jesus.
His humorous portrayal of a modern day Jesus has earned him great criticism; positive and negative.
Most Ghanaians including gospel singer Cindy Thompson have warned that the actor’s behaviour of mimicking Jesus Christ is a sin for which he will be punished.
Mmebusem has reacted to this backlash and denied mocking Jesus.
In a video sighted by zionfelix.net, he explained the motive for the skit is to propagate the word of God through comedy.
He added, the mere success of the skit is a clear indication of God’s greatness and approval.
Mmebusem thanked all Ghanaians for the massive support and constructive criticism while promising great content for the “Jesus skits”.
