Ghanaian men of God, Bishop Daniel Obinim and Rev. Obofuor have both come under a lot of social media backlash from Christians because they decided to perform songs from secular musicians in their church not long ago.

These attacks, however, do not scare Prophet Emmanuel Perry Appau who is the General Overseer of Prevailing Ministeries International as he has stated that he will allow “CCTV and Woara” of King Promise and Kwesi Arthur respectively to be performed in his church because the message in them is gospel.

Prophet Emmanuel Perry Appau disclosed that one major problem with Ghanaian Christians is how they easily jump the gun to pass judgment on people with doing due diligence.

He stressed that in as much as these musicians do a lot of songs which are secular, people should note that they probably have a covenant with their maker to use that media to propagate some message.

Prophet Emmanuel sighted the case of Saul conversion on the road of Damascus to back his case and emphasized that Ghanaians should sometimes take their time before they pass judgment on Ghanaian secular musicians.
