Ghanaian police officer, photo model, philanthropist and a budding musician, Corporal Rita Awuku, otherwise known as Maya, has declared her intention of educating the general public on child abuse, domestic violence, road safety and police-related issues through music.
The Afro-pop musician said she is putting many measures in place to make a meaningful impact on society.
Maya has been touted as the only Police officer in the country who is into secular music.
On many occasions, the beautiful police officer has received a lot of praises from a section of Ghanaian social media users for her patriotism and philanthropic activities.
She became the talk of the town when her photos went viral on social media. Comments on these photos were centred on how beautiful she is.
Maya is also preparing to launch the Maya’s Foundation soon.
