Tinny Hails Vybz Kartel’s Proposed December Concert In Ghana As A Big Win For The Music Industry

0

Veteran Ghanaian musician, Tinny, has praised Jamaican Vybz Kartel’s decision to host a concert in Ghana this December.

Speaking in an interview with Amansan Krakye on Property FM, Tinny emphasized that Ghana should seize the rare opportunity.

He argued that several African countries would have vied for such an honor.

“Big up to Vybz Kartel for choosing Ghana for his December concert. It’s a big thing because other African countries would have preferred he was going there,” Tinny said.

“But if Vybz Kartel chose Ghana, then it’s very positive and shows that we’re progressing, and everyone should come around to support it.”

As stated by Tinny, he believes this development signals recognition of Ghana’s growing influence on the global music map.

He further highlighted Ghana’s prominent standing in African dancehall music, referencing Shatta Wale’s past invitation to perform at a Vybz Kartel event in Jamaica as a testament to the nation’s rising profile.

“The whole of Africa, it was only Shatta Wale that Vybz Kartel invited to perform in Jamaica during his event, so our industry is growing,” Tinny added. “When it comes to dancehall, I think Ghana is well represented on the African continent, and Vybz Kartel, I’m sure he’ll be happy here.”

Mike2 Blasts Angel Asiamah for ‘Scripted’ Video of Agradaa’s Daughter

0

Award-winning Ghanaian radio presenter, Mike2, has strongly criticized Angel Asiamah for what he has described as an insensitive and exploitative act involving Nana Agradaa’s daughter, Rihanna.

Speaking on ADOM FM, Mike2 expressed deep disappointment in Angel Asiamah for publicly filming and broadcasting a video of young Rihanna pleading for authorities to pardon her imprisoned mother.

According to the outspoken media personality, the video appeared staged and lacked genuine compassion.

“This entire episode looked scripted,” Mike2 asserted.

“There was no real intention behind it other than to gain public attention. Using a young girl to do this is not only wrong but highly irresponsible.”

He emphasized that Rihanna, already dealing with the emotional strain of her mother’s legal troubles, should be protected and not subjected to further public scrutiny and emotional distress.

“Angel Asiamah should be shielding the girl, not putting her in front of cameras to appeal to public sympathy. This is mental and emotional torture for a child,” Mike2 added.

Nana Agradaa, a former fetish priestess turned evangelist, is currently serving time in prison for her infamous Sika Gari scam.

Frank Naro, the Ghanaian actor-turned-musician, has opened up about his short-lived stint with Guru’s NKZ Music label and the circumstances surrounding his exit after just two years.

During an interview on Hitz FM, Frank recounted how Guru and his team backed him during the early stages of his music career. He was signed alongside Strongman, and the label took full financial responsibility for his projects.

“Big ups to Guru of NKZ. When I started music professionally, Guru signed me for two years alongside Strongman. All the music and videos I released during that time were fully funded by Guru and Ray Moni,” he said.

Although the partnership began on a strong note, Frank revealed that his contract with NKZ wasn’t renewed once the initial term ended.

“From there, the contract was done, and they didn’t sign me again,” he explained.

He attributed the decision to unmet expectations but made it clear he harbored no resentment toward the label.

“The reason was that the expectations were not coming, but I didn’t blame them because it wasn’t easy for me when I started,” he said.

“At the end of the day, he’s investing in me, so if he decides not to work with me again, then it’s fine.”

Following his departure from NKZ, Frank found success with a new single that helped him build momentum and capture the attention of celebrated dancehall icon Samini. That opportunity soon led to a major career boost.

“I then released a song with Kofi Kinaata, and I got the attention from there. Along the line, Samini said he would help me, so he came on board and signed me.

“The first day Samini signed me was like a dream come true, so that made me happy,” Frank Naro stated.

“Cheating Is A Choice, Not A Mistake” – Tima Kumkum Slams Polygamy Excuse

0

Tima Kumkum has taken a firm stand against what she sees as a damaging cultural myth, that men are inherently polygamous. The media personality, known for her outspoken views, dismissed the notion as a “harmful narrative” that must be confronted head-on.

Tima challenged the normalization of infidelity in relationships and marriages, particularly among men, in an interview on Hitz FM.

“They’ve made it so normal to say men are polygamous by nature. I don’t want to hear that crap,” she said emphatically, asserting that cheating is not an accident but a conscious decision.

She argued that unfaithful husbands are fully aware of their actions. “If you cheat, it was deliberate,” Tima stressed.

“You knew what you were doing was wrong, and you did it anyway. If it was right, you would have told your wife. But you kept it from her because deep down, you know God will punish you one day.”

When questioned about the biblical basis for her beliefs, Tima didn’t hesitate. “Yes, adultery. The Bible clearly states that the only valid reason for divorce is sexual immorality,” she replied.

She acknowledged that the Bible permits forgiveness, but clarified that the choice ultimately lies with the wronged partner. “The Bible says it depends on you if you want to forgive,” she explained.

Tima further criticised how society has gradually accepted infidelity, especially when it comes to male behavior. “People now make it seem like it’s normal, but it’s not,” she insisted.

She was careful to note that her position wasn’t based on gender bias. “I’m not saying this because I’m a woman. Women cheat too, but the issue here is about men. And I’m saying, loyalty is one of the most important things in every relationship or marriage.”

Tima Kumkum expressed her frustration with men who claim to be loving partners while engaging in betrayal. “I hate to see or hear a man say he loves his wife and yet still cheats,” she said bluntly.
