Zionfelix.net reported days back that Ghanaian music group Gallaxy has parted ways with Tema-based record label; Harbor City Records.

First News Network (FNN) can confidently confirm that Gallaxy is no more with Harbor City Records. Speaking with Pamela Boateng on the midday news bulletin on Thursday, David Gallaxy, a member of the duo revealed that both parties had a mutual agreement to part ways.

‘Yes we have parted ways. I also woke up to the news running on social media. We had a mutual agreement days ago with our management which is Harbor City Records and we both decided to go our separate ways because the story is too complicated for us to talk about. As we speak, we are not even supposed to talk about it because we have some things in the pipeline…The thing is, both parties decided go our separate ways,’ he said

He continued, ‘There was never any signed contract with Harbor City Records. Gallaxy never signed any contract with Harbor City Records. It was just a verbal agreement between the two parties…we didn’t sign anything to prove we had any deal with Harbor City Records.’

When asked about how the group shared money made amongst both parties, David Gallaxy stated that he wouldn’t be too comfortable talking about percentages but all he can say is they had a fair verbal agreement as to what each party was entitled to.

Touching on what their next move is, he said; ‘So far as we are a brand, definitely people will express interest in working with us but we have to sit down as a team to look into potential contracts, and when the time is right, we will release a press statement. So for now, we can say Gallaxy is on its own. We still have our friendship with Harbor City Records but with the business side, there’s no relationship.’

Ghanaian female dancehall artiste Kaakie also recently revealed on social media that she’s parted with her record label of 6years; Xtra Large Music (XLM.) She further disclosed in an interview that due to the ‘breakup’, she’s lost the right to all her songs she recorded under the label. When asked by the news anchor whether the group Gallaxy has lost the right to all their songs recorded under the label, David Gallaxy responded in the negative and said; ‘Our case is different because as I mentioned earlier, we didn’t sign any contract with Harbor City Records. It was just a verbal agreement so I think we have the rights to all our songs because at the end of the day, it’s the artiste who created the music…but the thing is, as an artiste when you are coming up because you are in a hurry for the fame  and the money , you forget and sign on to things that will bind you so this should be a wakeup call for all artistes to read all contracts carefully before appending signatures or else they’ll end up at the losing end.’

Gallaxy is noted for their hit songs like ‘Twea,’ ‘Papa bi,’ ‘Boko Boko,’ ‘Dab,’ and recently, ‘Qualities.’

Ghanaian actor Toosweet Annan says he is ever ready to stark naked in movies.

The actor on Celebrity Ride With Zionfelix after making his keenness to show everything in a film known gave a condition under which he will do that. According to Mr. Annan, he will only go nude in movies if the money is good because he believes it is a business that both sides have to benefit.

He divulged on the show during the interview with Zionfelix that he once did it in a movie so it will not be a big deal to repeat the act. Toosweet Annan made it known that in the movie ‘More Than Crazy’ which features Paulina Oduro, Jackie Appiah, and others; his butt was captured for the public to enjoy and there was nothing wrong with it.

After several weeks of promotion, renowned Ghanaian actress, and entrepreneur, Nadia Buari has finally screened her latest movie titled ‘Deranged’.

The private screening, which held on Sunday, August 20 at the Labadi Beach Hotel, was awash with VIP guests and top notch Ghanaian celebrities such as Jackie Appiah, John Dumelo, Kalsuome Sinare and a host of others.

Deranged tells the story of a young girl who falls for her teacher from school & after a while becomes obsessed with him & goes to enormous measures to make him hers by attempting to murder his wife but rather killed his child and sets about manipulating every aspect of his life……….

Also starring in the movie are Ramsy Nuoah , Zynell Zuh , Priscilla Opoku Agyeman (Ahuofe Patri ),Pascaline Edwards , Jason E.L Agha, Henry Prempeh and Lisbeth Lopez Acquah .

From the story treatment to screenplay, costume to production design, Deranged, together with its crop of a-list cast, is in a class of its own.

This entirely private affair in conjunction with the Nadia Buari foundation is part of a series of activities leading up to the official premiere on October

Rapper Sarkodie has been quiet about the controversy of Sark Collection but he had to comment on it when he held his album listening for some selected media guys on Friday in Accra.

After watching videos from his yet-to-be-released album, blogger and OAP, Zionfelix quizzed him why he wore sneakers and belts of other brands in his music videos instead of Sark Collections as he used to project in his visuals years back. Obidi in a reply said that the company is designing different brands of Sark collection so he is waiting for the new set of materials.

He added that products from Sark Collections were not ready at the time he was shooting the videos so he had to put on other brands.

“I wanted to do photoshoot with Sark Collections and push them but unfortunately at the time we were shooting the videos, we didn’t have the new ones yet that is why I couldn’t have anything to put in there but that does not mean I have stopped wearing them” Michael Owusu Addo responded to Zionfelix.

Ghanaian Reggae musician and President of the Ghana Music Council, Ekow Micah has taken a swipe on Ghanaian pastors describing them as lairs.

According to the ‘Mesi wo hemaa’ hit maker, the pastors are not telling the truth to their congregations but rather making business out of the poor people in the various churches.

“The pastors are liars, they are not telling the church members the truth but rather extorting monies from the poor people to make themselves rich, buying luxurious cars and also buying big mansion without caring for the members”, he disclosed to Mike’2’ on Adom Entertainment Hall show last Saturday.

This followed when he was reacting to the statement he was said to have made that God smokes wee.

Backing his stance for smoking “wee”, he referred to the Holy bible and quoted where God smoked “wee” in Psalm 18:7-8.

According to him, Christians have been saying “wee” is satanic thing and this “wee” is created by God so when they refer to it as satanic they rather insult and disrespect God.

“Christians have been calling “wee” as satanic thing. Don’t you know that God who created you and I is the one who created the “wee” And you named it as “bonsam tawa” which shows that you don’t respect God.”, he quizzed.

Gospel diva Empress Gifty Osei has disqualified slothful bloggers from the list of persons she is studying to pick one for her USA trip.

The ‘Fefeefe’ hitmaker in a conversation with Zionfelix on Radio Univers’ Brunch2Lunch entertainment show Monday morning explained that the move is to reward bloggers for their good work done for the showbiz industry. She continued that her management team is keenly studying bloggers in the country to select the individual who deserves the fully paid trip to America.

According to her, the lucky online guy would be one “who reports the story as it is but does not add emotions to publications. Again the blogger will not be one who waits for someone to write the story and copy, those they call “copy and paste” bloggers. We want to encourage hardworking bloggers in the system now and that is why my team generated this initiative.”

The musician who recently released her new single, Adom further said the chosen one would not be a person who constantly writes about her.

“The blogger we will choose is not someone who always write about me but someone who’s helping the industry. My celebration is not just for my fans but the country”. Empress Gifty Osei told Zionfelix on the mid-morning show.

The female gospel musician’s plan to fly one blogger to USA is part of her 10 years aniversary.
